Beginning with ground instruction, your flight review will cover all the topics you need. This includes:

  • At least one hour of ground instruction
  • One hour of in-flight instruction with a qualified instructor
  • Appraisal of your skill level and knowledge as a pilot
You must get a biennial review with ground instruction every 24 months. You may substitute a new certificate or rating or a proficiency check administered by a check airman for a flight review.
